Annette Waggoner serves as the Executive Director of Commercial Collection Agencies of America. She is responsible for the enforcement of the association’s certification requirements, development of educational programming & consultation to the Board of Directors, as well as the Independent Standards Board. She’s also the association’s advocate within the credit & collection industries & is an author & speaker regarding commercial collections. She has been in the collection industry since 1992, as an officer with ownership interest of a certified commercial collection agency. From 1992-2012, she performed duties in the treasury & legal departments & ultimately served as the firm’s Vice President of Operations. Prior to the collections industry, she was an Accounting Officer at a national title insurance company, where her work included preparation of financial statements, financial analysis for merger & acquisition projects & internal audit work. She holds a BA in accounting & finance.
